History

Terminals

The terminals used to be named Lindbergh and Humphrey terminals. The Lindbergh terminal was named after Charles Lindbergh who was raised in Little Falls, Minnesota. The Humphrey terminal was named after Hubert Humphrey who represented Minnesota as a politician and was vice president of the US. The Lindbergh terminal is now called Terminal 1 and printed on most tickets as T1. The Humphrey terminal is now called Terminal 2 and is printed on most tickets at T2. The reason the terminals were renamed was to follow a more uniform naming convention among airports and to make printing the name on tickets easier.
